PED approved CP Grade 2 Titanium Strips and Coils exporter in India
We Alliance nickel alloys, are one of the titanium grade 2 sheet suppliers. It is available in different type of specification, thickness, dimensions and grades. It is extensively used in diverse industrial applications, and is formed from latest technology and superior grade of raw materials.
Titanium Grade 2 Plate is a commercially pure which contains 99% of minimum titanium. It is corrosion resistance comes from a strongly follower, protective oxide feature, stable which forms in the presence of oxygen. This feature makes it resistant to most oxidizing, neutral and inhibited reducing, as well as mildly reducing environments.
titanium grade 2 sheet provides excellent resistance to marine atmosphere and seawater corrosion. Its corrosion resistance is similar between the four C.P. grades, but mechanical properties differ along with differing iron and oxygen contents.
astm b265 grade 2 plate is resistant to attack from metallic chlorides, moist chlorides, chlorite and hypochlorite solutions, chromic and nitric and organic acids as well as many gaseous industrial applications.
cp grade 2 titanium sheet has higher levels of oxygen and iron than other grades, which provides moderate strength, excellent formability and superior corrosion resistance. It is a good application for chemical and aerospace, marine, and medical applications.
3.7035 grade 2 sheets have good ductility, which allows for cold formability. Hot working should be performed between the ranges of 400°F to 600°F. Stress relieving should be performed by heating at a temperature range between 900°F to 1100°F followed by either slow cooling or forced air. It can also be easily machined, hot worked and welded. Its annealing temperature ranges from 1200°F to 1400°F for 6 minutes to 2 hours accompanied by an air cool.
Welding of titanium gr 2 plate can be performed using various methods such as TIG and MIG. A mixture of helium and argon is typically preferred but should be tested prior to accepting a welding procedure. Preheat or post heat treatments are not needed.
