ASTM A790 UNS S32750 is a variation of super duplex steel. The duplex steel material is made up of chromium and molybdenum alloy. The duplex has the ferritic and austenitic steel properties in its metallurgic microstructure. This gives the name duplex to the material. The SA 790 UNS S32750 belongs to the super duplex category. There are three groups of duplex, namely the duplex, super duplex and lean duplex. Each of them has their own composition and specific mechanical properties as a result.
