A commercially pure wrought nickel alloy. Alloy 201 was modified to control carbon (0.02 Max) which keeps it being embrittled by intergranular precipitates at temperatures of 0 0 600 F to 1400 F. The Alloy is dual certified and is widely used to handle caustic soda.
