Monel 400 Pipe Fittings is a distinct nickel-copper alloy which has about 67% of Nickel and 23% of copper. It also contains traces of iron, manganese, silicon, Sulphuric and carbon. It is a solid solution which only hardens when cooled. It is built with high strength, good corrosion resistance and super weldability. It is so powerfully resistant that it can withstand seawater, steam at high temperatures, salt and caustic solutions. Its low corrosion rate in flowing brackish waters also make it useful in marine applications and non-oxidizing chloride solutions.
