Application
Before usage it must be assured that: - the engine is turned off - the exhaust system is at room temperature and has no leakage - all exhaust system relevant parts (e.g. EGR valve) are working properly Check the engine oil level before application. If the engine oil is contaminated with diesel fuel, an oil change has to be carried out before cleaning of the diesel particulate filter can be done.
1) Dismantle the temperature and/or pressure sensors from the diesel particulate filter.
2) Fill the DPF Air-Jet Fluid into the air pressure pistol, apply air pressure (2.5 – 4.0 bar) and adjust pressure at the device.
3) Spray the product in 5 second intervals through the probe opening into the DPF. Application ratio 1:3 with water (1 L sufficient for 4 L cleaning liquid), in case of strong con- tamination use 1:1 ratio. Repeat process if necessary.
4) Reassemble the sensors.
